"

WMRA has recently ,published ",WMRA Newsletter 2012", issue number 17 of its ,Annual Magazine.
This year - for the first time - the WMRA Newsletter is also available to download ,on the WMRA webpage. Click ",about us",, ,followed by ,",Newsletter",.
As usual the Newsletter gives a summary of the activity for last year 2011 and previews the competition in 2012.
This year the WMRA magazine consists of 28 pages.
Every year 2000 printed copies of the magazine are produced with the support of the IAAF and is distributed free of charge to all the National Athletic Federation in the World (it means more than 200 Countries receive this magazine, plus all the IAAF Officials Council members and so on).
WMRA Council members also distribute the Magazine to all the LOC of the races held in 2011 and 2012 and to coaches and athletes at WMRA events.

The WMRA Newsletter is an important document for recording events and developing the knowledge of mountain running worldwide.
It is also an opportunity for promoting the sponsors and supporters of WMRA.
The WMRA Newsletter was created under the Presidency of Danny Hughes in 1996 and continued to be compiled and edited following his death by his wife Norma.
Following a decision by the WMRA President Bruno Gozzelino it continues to be printed in Danny's native County of Cumbria in Great Britain by John Barnes of Printexpress.
This year Adrian Woods replaced Norma Hughes in the production and editorial of this magazine, compiled in collaboration with the WMRA President and with the cooperation of all the WMRA Council members.
WMRA Is confident that this new service will be appreciated by everyone who has a love for mountain running!
For this reason WMRA is also considering publishing previous WMRA Newsletters of the past years to make them available on line in a downloadable PDF format for everyone to access.
In the meantime WMRA hope that more people will visit the WMRA webpage and enjoy reading the WMRA Newsletter 2012.
