Exciting News About The International U18 Mountain Running Cup

A few weeks ago we brought you the sad news that it had been necessary to cancel this year's International U18 Mountain Running Cup in Ambleside, England. This was because of the ongoing unpredictability of the global pandemic and the need to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants. Now we'd like to bring you some exciting news...

We're delighted to bring you the news that under 18 athletes will still get the chance to enjoy running in this beautiful location as the local organising committee have managed to secure a new date for the International U18 Mountain Running Cup of 24th July 2021 in order to keep it in Ambleside. They are thrilled to be able to offer this new date and to welcome athletes and their families from all over the world to the historic Lake District, the home of fell running.

This event is so important for young athletes and has helped to nurture so much talent over the years. It has taken a huge amount of work from the local organising committee, under challenging conditions which have been unprecedented, to make it happen.
