VALSIR MOUNTAIN RUNNING WORLD CUP CALENDAR ANOUNCEMENT

The WMRA in collaboration the organisers of Skyrunning Gran Canaria have regretfully decided to remove the race from the 2024 Valsir Mountain Running World Cup.  Following advice from the WMRA athletes' commission about the number of World Cup races and local planning obstacles it was agreed that the race is no longer obligated to host their round of the 25th Valsir Mountain Running World Cup.

The resulting new calendar, now features a roster spanning 7 countries, encompassing 9 events and a total of 12 races, commencing in June its journey at the Broken Arrow Skyrace in the United States.

In light of these changes, we want to inform athletes that the points system for the World Cup ranking has been adapted accordingly. More info here.
