Surprise result in the 2nd WMRA Grand Prix race.

The 2nd Rock of Gibraltar Mountain Race results.

Vincente Capitan (Spain) was a surprise winner of the second WMRA Grand Prix race on the Rock of Gibraltar beating 4 times world champion Marco De Gasperi into second place by just 5 seconds. He finished 14th, behind winner De Gasperi, in last years European championships.
Only 22 seconds separated the first 4 finishers in a high quality field. Last years winner, Marco Gaiardo finished seventh.
The ladies race turned out to be a comfortable victory for Izabella Zatorska (Poland) who, with 2 Grand Prix victories is well on the way to overall first position at the end of the season.
